An IPhO and IOAA medalist and national champion in high school mathematics and physics, Luka read engineering at Cambridge and joined Microsoft, where he became the lead program manager on more than twenty AI features now used by millions — Paint Cocreator, Windows Recall, Live Captions, Studio Effects. That taught him what AI looks like when it has to survive review by a billion users: what breaks, what people actually trust. Aries's founding engagement was Sanbo — an AI-native platform for private capital markets — which the practice helped scale from zero to $1m ARR and over $1b in AUM. Aries AI exists because those two worlds rarely meet: the people who know how to build AI, and the firms that need it to hold up in production and under audit.
